Extending Your Knowledge of Jolly Phonics This course provides teachers with additional ideas and strategies to make the teaching of Jolly Phonics more effective. The course explores: * a synthetic phonics - the do's and don'ts * common questions and areas of difficulty which teachers encounter with the Jolly Phonics program; * the teaching of the five skills of Jolly Phonics using the interactive whiteboard; * additional blending and segmenting activities to incorporate into your classroom; * more phonemic awareness activities;
* a closer look at the digraphs - how can they be introduced to children in their first year of formal schooling; * assisting children move towards reading and writing words to reading and writing sentences;
***Please note*** This course is suitable for teachers who have attended the introductory course to the Jolly Phonics program. This course will NOT include Jolly Grammar Registration Form
