Synthetic Phonics - An Introduction to Jolly Phonics This workshop provides teachers with an introduction to Jolly Phonics. It provides hands-on strategies to take back to the classroom and examines how digraphs are introduced in the first year of formal schooling. The workshop is designed to show how Jolly Phonics can be adapted to suit the children in your class. The importance of phonemic awareness is also highlighted. A planning framework of the 42 sounds is offered as well as how Jolly Phonics is incorporated into the reading and writing process. Registration Form
